This isn't to say she doesn't feel pain at all but rather that she it takes a fair bit more for her to feel it and even more before she's willing to acknowledge it.

Pain Tolerance	Benefit/Flaw	Natalya's tolerance to pain is exceptionally high. This means she can keep fighting even when she's hurt. It also means that it takes a lot more for her to realize she's hurt which could, in worst case scenario, be life threatening.
Broken	Flaw	Assassin, spy, manipulator… Natalya has done a lot of things in her past that she's not proud of. A lot of things that, to this day, haunt her. She'd never admit to it, but there have been countless sleepless nights because of her past and if things are discovered, it could easily be used against her.

Background

About sixty some years ago, give or take, two Master spies were brought to A'reen'ah. They had been, before they were taken, part of an organization called S.H.I.E.L.D.

Long standing friends and on-again/off-again lovers… The two only had each other when they arrived. The Avengers hadn't yet been formed and the rest of the operatives had escaped being grabbed because Agent Romanoff and Agent Barton were on assignment when they were taken.

Once they found themselves on A'reen'ah, many years were spent trying to return. In that time, the 'off again' part of their relationship ceased being and from this, a daughter was born. Natalya.

After she was born, something happened and the pair gave up trying to get home and created a life for their daughter that was as stable as this world allows for. As she grew, it became apparently that, Aly as she was called, aged at a much slower rate than normal humans. A kickback from the altered DNA of her mother. As life progressed, the spies taught their daughter how to take care of herself, not wanting her defenseless in a world like A'reen'ah.

She, however, asked that it be taken further than simple self defense lessons and so, she was taught all her parents knew. From acrobatics to dance to languages to martial arts to a myriad of weapons. She had plenty of time to learn it all and dedicated herself to doing so. Aly trained hard, reaching the point of peak physical condition by doing so in multiple ways that went above and beyond what most people would do.

Eventually, however, when she was in her forties, her parents passed. More than grown by then, it was still a hard blow for Natalya and she moved herself from the home they had in Crossroads out to the Wastelands. To this day, she continues her training at no less than six hours a day. She feels badly for those that are ripped from their worlds and their lives but living on A'reen'ah has taught her that life is hard. You deal with it and you move on.
